Gentle Yoga Classes focus on restoring the body to its natural state of health and balance. Each class incorporates gentle yoga postures, relaxing breathing techniques and simple meditations.

I offer several Workshops throughout the Year including:

Yoga Nidra and Yoga for Inner Peace

Yoga Nidra

The Yoga Nidra Workshop begins with Gentle yoga poses and guided Meditation. Often translated as "yogic sleep", Yoga Nidra is a state of relaxation, where the body "sleeps", the mind remains conscious, and deep restoration and rejuvenation can take place.This workshop will be a chance to step out of the everyday, and into a zone of deep relaxation.

Yoga for Inner Peace

Stress, anxiety, and depression can be understood as symptoms of a dysregulated system. Yoga gives us tools to positively affect the physical body, pranic body, and conscious and unconscious mind, all leading to a more balanced state of being.

This workshop will introduce participants to techniques that nourish and support the entire system:

  • Gentle asana focused on linking movement and breath

  • Pranayama techniques for either calming or uplifting the nervous system

  • Simple meditation for cultivating mindfulness and inner balance

  • Guided meditation for calming the mind and deep relaxation

Many of us know from experience that the practice of yoga helps us to feel calm and grounded, or even energized & balanced. If you have ever been curious about how yoga works to create inner balance, then this workshop is for you!

Alexis Major Yoga uses sliding scale & Donation for classes- making services available to all.

Community Members- suggested donation of $10 per 1 hour class.

Classes are always offered free of charge for those who need this option.

Donating a higher amount allows other people to attend at a reduced rate!
